Who is Elizabeth Parker?

I have never revealed a lot about myself, partly because I am in the closet to my family and friends, and partly because this web page and my column are about mainstream fiction books, not about me. But perhaps you would like to know more about me anyway.

I am a heterosexual transvestite. I have had the desire to dress as a girl or woman ever since my earliest memory. Even during preschool I can remember dreaming eroticly of being dressed as a princess and being held captive in a castle. Fairy tale influence undoubtedly, yet interesting that at so early an age, I identified so strongly with the forcible feminization theme.

I also learned to read during preschool from reading the backs of cereal boxes. I can remember reading the teacher's instructions in our Kindergarten workbooks. During 3rd grade I had the conflicting experience of being spanked numerous times for reading during class. Yet at the end of the year I won the school award for reading the most books.

I grew up with reading as my escape from the real world. The fact that I could find transgender behaviour described in books nobody would look at twice only fueled my obsession. Fortunately, I have been able to find good jobs which support this habit.

I am a computer programmer by trade. For fun I run road races and practice Taekwando. I have earned a 1st Dan (degree) black belt in one of the toughest programs in the US.

And finally, where the hell are my pictures (I hear you asking)? I know that's the first thing I look for on other girl's sites. Well, even though I have learned to dress and makeup well enough to go out, I have never taken it to the level of getting pictures made. Perhaps someday if I have a more extended opportunity to indulge Elizabeth, I'll do so. However for now, this site is just for the book information.
