Picture Jesus standing before you now,
and He says these words to you,
with passion and grace, directly to your heart.
I love you.
I love you as a parent loves their newborn child, even more so.
I love you as a father who lovingly disciplines his son, but My loving
discipline will never put you down, never belittle you, never make you
feel small. I love you as a mother who is concerned for your every need.
I love you as a parent who wants to help their grown child find his
way into this formidable world. I love you as a friend.
I love you when you are simply being yourself. I love you like no other
has ever loved you before. I love you like no one ever will.
My love for you will never fade. My love for you will never die.
My love for you will never change. My love will always be there for you.
I love you even when you feel no one else loves you,
when you feel like no one could ever love you.
I love you when you find it difficult to love yourself.
I love you when you are hurting and feel all alone. I love you when you
forget to call My name in your hour of need. I love you even when you
fail to keep your promises to Me. I love you when you forget to thank
Me for all that I have done for you. I love you even when you complain
about the little things that I have a purpose for in your life. I love you
even when you fail to love others. I love you even if you don't love Me.
I love you even when you hurl insults at Me. I love you when you spit in
My face and jerk out My beard. I love you even when you call Me
cruel names. I love you even though you once wished I were dead.
I love you even when you desert Me when I need you the most.
I love you when nothing seems to go right for you. I even love you when
you are at your worst. I love you when you feel like giving up your faith
in Me. I love you when you struggle to live according to My Word, and
feel it is just too impossible for you to live by My commandments. And
even when you do it wrong and miss the joy I've planned, I'll never let go
of your hand. You are special to Me, no matter how you feel, no matter
what condition you are in, no matter what others are saying about you.
I created you, and I think about you every day. I've never stopped caring
for you. And there's nothing you can do to keep Me from loving you.
Even when you feel like giving up on yourself, I haven't given up on you.
When nothing seems to go right for you, and everything your heart longs
for seems so far out of reach, I am right there waiting for you to ask Me.
I want to be the One you call on when you have something exciting to
share. Yes, I especially want your love.
But even when you don't love Me, remember, I will always love you.
I will always be here for you.
I love you more than power, more than glory, more than riches.
I love you... I love you...I love you...
You have a choice right now:
To be inside that love, or to be outside of it.
And that choice is one only you can make.
